Kathryn Bentley Fine Jewelry specializes in creating bespoke pieces using 3 types of fine metals: solid gold, sterling silver, and brass. Our solid gold pieces are made from 18-karat yellow gold or 14-karat rose gold and are stamped with the karat mark for authentication. We also work with 4 types of precious stones: diamonds, sapphires, emeralds and rubies. All of these stones are ethically sourced from local artisans in New York where possible to support local businesses. Our final two materials used in our jewelry designs are tension-set gems and freshwater sea pearls which add an extra dash of luxury to any look.

Jewelers work to achieve measurements for rings or earrings and set gemstones into their completed patterns in order to bring each piece together smoothly. Finishing techniques like cleaning, polishing and applying metal finishes are also applied in order to give each piece a unique and finished look.
